Russia announces sweeping progress within the option of agreeing to accession within the Ukrainian regions

 The European Union pledges to impose sanctions on the organizers of the annexation referendums in Ukraine

On Tuesday, Russia announced sweeping progress within the preliminary results of the choice of agreeing to hitch the Ukrainian regions.

RIA reported that 97% of Kherson residents agreed to hitch Russia, adding that 98% of Donetsk residents agreed to affix Russia.

A spokesman for the EU Union's policy chief confirmed, on Tuesday, that the annexation referendums organized by Russia in Ukraine are "illegal", and all persons who participated in organizing them are going to be subject to sanctions.

"There are going to be penalties for all the those that participated in these illegal referendums and for people who supported them," Peter Stano said during a group discussion in Brussels, quoting AFP.

Ukrainian and Russian forces fought fierce fighting in several regions of Ukraine, with referendums organized by Russia in four regions that it hopes to annex with the top of it, today, Tuesday.

The Russian army continued to strike the positions of Ukrainian forces and military infrastructure and liberate the Donbas lands. In contrast, Kyiv continued to receive Western support in the face of the Russian army.

More US funding appears to air the way, with sources saying that members of Congress debating a short-lived spending bill have agreed to incorporate about $12 billion in new military and gifts to Ukraine.

British intelligence said that the Russian President statesman will address the Kremlin next Friday, stressing that there are expectations that Putin will announce to the Kremlin the accession of Ukrainian regions to Russia.

For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Donetsk region within the east remains a top strategic priority for his country, and for Russia still, while fighting intensified in several towns as Russian forces tried to advance south and west.

Clashes also came about within the northeastern Kharkiv region, the main focus of Ukraine's counter-offensive this month. Ukrainian forces continued a campaign to decommission four bridges and other river crossings to disrupt the provision lines of Russian forces within the south.

Moscow hopes to annex the regions of Kherson, Lugansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhia, within the east and south, which form up about 15 percent of Ukraine.

None of these areas are under Moscow's full control, and fighting continues along the whole battlefront, as Ukrainian forces have announced further advances since they defeated Russian forces during a fifth district, Kharkiv, earlier this month.

Russian President statesman has tacitly threatened to use nuclear weapons to shield his country's territory, which might include the four regions if annexed.

Voting on its annexation to Russia began on Friday, and is scheduled to finish on Tuesday, with the Russian parliament likely to approve the annexation within days.

Kyiv and therefore the West reject the referendums as shams, vowing to not recognize the results.

In Russia, about 300,000 soldiers from the reserve forces were called up.

Russia considers numerous former conscripts to own officially reservists. The authorities failed to say exactly who would be summoned because this part of the order issued by Putin is confidential.

Late on Monday evening, Zelensky described the military situation in Donetsk as "extremely dangerous."

"We do everything we will contain the enemy's activity. this is often our first goal now because Donbas remains the primary target of the occupiers," he said, touching on the broader region with Donetsk and Luhansk.

The Odessa administration said Russia had allotted a minimum of five attacks on targets within the region using Iranian drones within the past few days.
